NEW SMART ELECTRIC CAR COMING IN APRIL

Daimler’s small city car brand smart has unveiled a new model known as fortwo edition citybeam that is available in an electric only option. The price of the zero emissions option offering will run over $27,000 at start (over $31,000 for a convertible), and does not include a monthly battery rental fee.
The electric version of the edition citybeam is propelled by a 55 kW electric drive. There’s no more on the details right now then this in terms of range or charging time, but perhaps we will find out more when the car reaches dealers in April. In the meanwhile, there are plenty of other details available though to speak to.

The car is designed to make a sporty statement with body panels in metallic or matt patchwork, a tridion safety cell in silver and three-double-spoke alloy wheels with wide tires. On the interior the seats come in black leather, and further features “include the instrument panel in leather optic with crystal grey stitching, a striking two-section knee pad in black/crystal grey leather look, a 3-spoke leather sports steering wheel with shift paddles and crystal grey stitching, and specially produced floor mats embroidered with the edition lettering.”
In terms of equipment this particular smart fortwo includes a softouch automatic gear program, electric windows, air conditioning with automatic temperature control, a basic audio system and a transparent panoramic roof with sunblind. The vehicle also “boasts titanium-coloured headlamps, LED daytime driving lights and the edition logo in the mirror triangles.”
There was no mention on whether or not this edition would ever appear in the United States or other markets outside of Europe.

  1. Me gustaría saber autonomía en los híbridos, velocidad máxima y tiempo de recarga de la batería, así como su precio
