Mercedes SLS AMG GT Final Edition on L. A.

This is it folks. 350 units of this including the coupe and the roadster, and the SLS AMG is gone. With it, say goodbye to the 6.2 V8 too
After seeing the first pictures, many of you have asked why the black hood? Well, carbon fiber is the short answer. The SLS is a rather heavy car, and this is AMG's way of saying that the Final Edition is even sportier than the normal GT. Which it should be.
The rear wing is made of CFRP as well, and to follow up on that, freshly developed Dunlop Sport Maxx Race Cup tyres in size 265/35 R 19 (front) and 295/30 R 20 (rear) are also available as a no cost option. The SLS AMG GT FE (yes, really) also gets a center outlet on the hood, just like theBlack Series, for improved downforce, cooling and drag.
Inside, diamond pattern is everywhere with contrasting top stitching in silver on the black leather upholstery. The seatbelts are silver, too, just like the edges of the black floor mats. Instead of the usual piano black, the carbon fiber trim is standard
Next to the many embossed AMG emblems in the cabin, the "AMG FINAL EDITION - 1 of 350" badge on the carbon fiber center console is a clear sign of how special this SLS really is
The market launch of the SLS AMG GT FINAL EDITION will commence in March 2014. UK Pricing and Specification is still to be confirmed.
