Los Angeles 2013: Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT Final Edition

The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Final Edition was only just officially released but the German marque were sure to have one of the 350 models at the Los Angeles Motorshow that is running this week. The car on show in finished is a very cool matte grey.
The AMG hand built 6.3-litre V8 engine produces a stunning 591 hp at 6800 rpm and maximum torque of 650 newton metres at 4750 rpm, the high-revving eight-cylinder engine guarantees dynamic driving at its finest and will be sure to produce the creamy burble and war cry of AMG V8′s that we love. It does not just sound good but means the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT Final Edition accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds, and can reach 200 km/h in 11.2 seconds. The top speed has had to be reigned in to 320 km/h. This epic engine has been linke dot a fast-reacting, variable and emotionally exciting AMG Speedshift DCT 7-speed sports transmission that proves to be the perfect match for the V8. It is built with four shift programmes including the remarkable Race Start and an automatic double-declutching function, the dual-clutch transmission mounted in a transaxle configuration on the rear axle brings with it the perfect balance for top performance.
