Infiniti QX60 Hybrid Starts At $53,950 In Canada

Prices for the 2014 Infiniti QX60 Hybrid luxury crossover have been released by Infiniti Canada.
The Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) for the 2014 Infiniti QX60 Hybrid luxury crossover in base trim, called Base Premium, stands at $53,950 CDN; the hybrid version joins the QX60, formerly the Infiniti JX35, in retailers when it goes on sale later this month.
The second of two models available in Canada is the Premium, with Theatre, Driver Assistance, Deluxe Touring, and Technology packs (including Driver Assistance pkg) carries an MSRP of $62,950 CDN.
Of note, Canadian QX60 Hybrids are only available with AWD powertrains .
Powered by a 2.5-litre supercharged engine and 15 kilowatt electric motor connected to a CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission), the all-new QX60 Hybrid is said by Nissan to balance performance with efficiency by delivering a net system horsepower of 250 and a best-in-class fuel economy of 7.3 L/100 kilometer, a 23 percent improvement over the non-hybrid model.
In the U.S., fuel economy is projected by Infiniti USA to be rated at 26 miles per gallon while the base QX60 Hybrid carries an MSRP of $44,550 USD while the AWD version stands at $45,950 USD.
“The new QX60 Hybrid’s inspired technology and design offers the benefits of a hybrid without the usual space and performance compromises – something that we believe will be extremely appealing to buyers,” said Wendy Durward, Director, Infiniti Canada.
Infiniti said the QX60 Hybrid also features available advanced technology like Backup Collision Intervention, Blind Spot Intervention and Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection and provides exceptional levels of interior flexibility and roominess, safety and advanced hospitality features. That list includes segment-leading overall passenger volume, segment-leading rear cargo volume (3rd row seats folded, 2nd row seats in forward-most slide position) and access to its 3rd row without removing a 2nd row child seat.
