The All New Tesla Roadster 2.5 Breaks Cover

This is turning out to be a major week in Tesla’s journey – not only has the electric car maker launched its IPO and listing in NASDAQ, but it is now out with an all new and updated version of its very popular Roadster electric sports car. Breaking out of the shell today is the new Tesla Roadster 2.5 that boasts of improvements that come as a “direct result of customer feedback .
Amongst the major new upgrades to the Tesla Roadster 2.5 are a new front fascia with diffusing vents and a rear diffuser with directional forged-wheels available in both silver and black completing the exterior modifications. Inside, you will find new seats with improved comfort, larger, more supportive bolsters and a new lumbar support system. Also fitted is a power control hardware and an optional 7″ touchscreen display with back-up camera. Lastly the car features an improved interior sound reduction including new front fender liner material that makes the cabin even quieter.
The powertrain options however remain the same with the new Tesla Roadster 2.5 powered by an AC induction motor that delivers 288 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque and sprints the car from 0-60 mph in 3.7 sec.
The Tesla 2.5 Roadster is available for order now for the European and North American customers.
