Nordex bags seconds in Sweden

Nordex is to supply nine N100 2.5MW turbines for the Bösjövarden wind farm in Sweden in repeat business with O2.
The turbines, which will be delivered to the project in central Sweden next summer, will be cold-climate versions of the turbines with anti-icing systems fitted to the rotor blades.
Nordic developer O2 recently signed a deal with the German manufacturerfor 24 of its N117 3MW Generation Delta turbines for its 72MW Maevaara wind farm in the north of the country.
Nordex management board member Lars Bondo Krogsgaard said: “The follow-up order from O2 shows that our cold-climate turbines fitted with the anti-icing system are a highly attractive option for our customers operating wind farms in regions with long and very cold winters.”
