The City of London has just completed a 1 year trial of the Nissan e-NV200 electric van. According to the Nissan, responses from people who had a chance to use the -NV200 were ‘universally positive.’ Other feedback comments said the e-NV200 had ‘great range and car-like feel’, and that it could ‘cover typical daily journeys on one charge.’
“We are pleased to be one of the first organisations to trial the e-NV200 – and the feedback has been very positive. We also had access to the Nissan LEAF which was well received by our staff, so we had no hesitation in wanting to try the e-NV200. The drivers were impressed with its comfort and responsiveness,” said John Tomlinson, Chairmen of the City of London’s Health & Environmental Services Committee.
Barry Beeston, Nissan GB corporate sales director said that the electric e-NV200 is one of the most exciting developments in years, and the trial in London was an important part of Nissan’s research and development process ahead of the launch of the e-NV200 in 2014.
Production is scheduled for later this year, and sales are slated for early 2014.
