Kenguru Electric Car is the first

The Kenguru electric car is the first ever electrically powered car that was specifically designed for wheelchair users. Now of course we love that this car is environmentally friendly, but what caught our eye is something more specific about its design — wheelchair users can directly enter the vehicle without ever having to get out of their wheelchair. An interlocking device within the car secures the wheelchair, after the user enters from an automatic lowering ramp via the rear.
The Kenguru can drive up to 45 km/h with a range of 70-110 km on an 8 hour charge. Due to its weight, it is classified as a scooter and therefore only a scooter driver’s licence is required to drive the Kenguru.
