NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. — Organizers of a green energy symposium have set their sights on Niagara Falls.
New York state economic development officials and representatives of the World Green Energy Symposium plan to be in Niagara Falls on Thursday to announce the city as the site of the 2014 symposium.
The annual conference focuses on green and renewable energy technology and innovations, as well as related job and economic opportunities.
The 2013 symposium took place in New York City in March. The first conference was held in 2008.
