A new international Renewables Club has launched, promising to promote and scale up the global use of green energy sources, such as wind and solar power.
Founder members of the new group include the UK, China, Denmark, France, India, Morocco, South Africa, Tonga, Germany and the United Arab Emirates
The club aims to support the work of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) in the UAE and Germany.
UK Climate Change Minister Greg Barker signed up the agreement during a meeting of ministers on Saturday in Germany.
